CreeD: imaginary pages 75, 76, and 77

At the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in Paris, the game which I have been providing concept art for was announced as Diablo 3. You can see some of my paintings on the official website at, as well as some sweet video of what this game is about. Im very proud of the presentation and the hard work that the team Ive been working with has put into this one, and I hope that it is as exciting for you as it is for me. Its quite a long way from painting rocks for He-Man on the GBA, which was my first gig in video games thanks to my long time friend Patrick Charpenet. Who gave me my first shot and helped me learn the ropes in the game industry.
I've finally posted up a bundle of 13 Trading Cards I did for the World of Warcraft TCG in my ebay store. If you enjoy my painted illustrations, you can pick up the whole set of 13 cards through the store over on the right.
Im putting the last touches on this final CreeD issue in the series, and it will be available for purchase in about 6 weeks if all goes according to schedule. Ive posted 3 pages today after regrettably missing a couple of days last week.

Some paintings from The Burning Crusade.

In continued support, and as a "thank you" to everyone checking this site regularly, I've decided to post more of my paintings, and concept art from World of Warcraft. All of this stuff is owned by Blizzard, and some of it is just doodles.
What a Concept Artist does, I think is generally misunderstood... even by many people with the title. Concept art is an idea, communicated simply, and broken down into smaller sketches to communicate the entire blueprint of that idea so that it can be built by a 3d artist, or those who execute the final presentation. An illustration is a complete image, and is self contained.

This is an illustration of the Draeni starting location:

And this is concept art for the burning legion camps and teleporters:

Ill try to post more images from the games Ive worked on if anyone is interested in this sort of thing, however much of it cannot be shown.

CreeD: Imaginary page 72

Emotional reckless fit-recourse-repeat. Im wondering if thats all there is to it. Is the failure not more valuable than the finale, the pedestal and the death of magic? All of which end in the same... Im still trying to rise.
Tho I simply rant.

CreeD: imaginary page 71

Good news today! Ive been busy as hell working on some new projects. One of which is a motion graphic/comic animation for Nova Colony. This thing is looking sweet! Its got full voice acting, and for the hearing impaired, text bubbles, full color and the first episode runs almost 3 minutes! Its a hell of an undertaking, but Jimm Showman wrote a really fun script, and we both feel that this fancy new "internet technology" will be the very best way to give this to you for free. At this time, I cannot promise a posting date, only that it will be a couple of months likely.
Also in the works... some new World of Warcraft TCG cards, and The Fuzz comic which I will begin posting after this issue of CreeD runs.
Speaking of which, please only expect about 3 pages a week from now on, as my work at Blizzard has been keeping me late, and all of my freelance projects have demanding schedules at this time.
On a side note, my profile pic as actually standing in front of the building where Metal Gear Solid 4 was made in Tokyo Japan. What an amazing building! The gardens out back are phenomenal as well.

CreeD: Imaginary Pages 63 + 64

To summarize my disdain for pop culture, and pretty much every woman I meet in Southern California... id like to share This link.
Brother... you pretty much summed it up.
